I feel lucky

Had a splendid mother's day weekend  -  over the course of the weekend we celebrated with family and I was spoiled. Which is always kind of nice.  My main gift from my husband is a weekend away with my girlfriends sans children -  the coast next weekend and I am looking forward to it.

I also received one of the nicest gifts a week or so early - M emphatically told G and I that " even with the influx of babies and the increase in the population, you guys have revolutionized the parenting industry!"

{I hope I can be half the mama that he thinks I am,  I will work towards that.}

Have a wonderful trip! To Cannon Beach? Where, where? I'm sure you'll have a great time and have every confidence that you've earned it! Belated "Happy Mother's Day!"

Wow, fun stuff!

If you don't mind my asking, how old is M? I have just started reading your blog and I assumed that your kids are pretty young. (I am assuming that just because other craft bloggers all seem to have small children.)

He has very good vocabulary!

Word of the Day

  • {and probably yesterday and maybe tomorrow}
  • Panacea \pan-uh-SEE-uh\, noun: A remedy for all diseases, problems, or evils; a universal medicine; a cure-all. Dark chocolate may or may not be a panacea, but it's worth giving it a shot. You know, to further medical research.
