I love these repainted vintage portraits by Museum of Wonder. I have an antique portrait of a church cardinal that would be perfect for this, wonder if they do commissions...
Where Children Sleep is a photo essay by James Mollison; a set of children's portraits with a simple white background and an accompanying photo of the bedroom or place each sleeps at night. The project was initally for a children's charity and eventually included over 200 children. More HERE at the Times. Well done.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs
These antique tin pieces fascinate me - I like the quirkiness of a lot of folk art {plus I love old tin}. Tin traditionally marks the 10th wedding anniversary. Check out more of these unusual pieces at JUST FOLK.
