Back from a week of much needed sunshine in the Cal. desert. Yum, vitamin D! Visiting family, the boys loved being spoiled and of course all of the swimming and water fights.
We went on a hike in the canyon and I caught this great picture of a hummingbird on my lil ol camera. Only one shot showed the purple as she turned her head for me 'just so'.

at battling Internet Time Suck. You know when you fall down an internet rabbit hole and come up for air only to realize that you spent far too much time down there? I don't like that. I have installed apps on both Firefox and Chrome that limit my time on designated time wasting and tempting sites. I allow myself a certain amount of time on these sites, and once it's used up I am reminded to GET BACK TO WORK. The smart folks at Lifehacker helped me. {no, not one of my designated stay-away sites}
