Another vintage children's book to share - this edition of Pinocchio was published by Macmillan in 1926, illustrated by Attilio Mussino. It is from my husband's family and in need of some repairing by me. It is a pretty good size, almost a foot tall and longer {over 400 pgs!} than any Pinocchio book I remember as a kid.
I love so much about it - the hand tooling on the cover and spine.
The colorful illustrations.
I love the typography/chapter headings. {The RBF logo represents the Italian printers R. Bemporad & Figlio , where this edition was printed}
I love all of the character drawn into Pinocchio.
And I even love the last page.
