Our town

Nice article in the Times on Sunday about Portland - a good read if you are planning a trip here.

The current issue of Food and Wine also features Portland - namely Pok Pok - a restaurant the mag calls a shrine to Thai grilling. I need to eat out more - in the meantime, I am want to try some of Pok Pok's recipes. {Even if they end up half as good as the food there.}

The  illustrations in this chapter were the sole reason I exchanged a hard earned dollar for this vintage health textbook.

{maybe she feels guilty for only having towels for herself.}

As you can see, I am easily amused.
