The ROTHKOesque group on flickr is an inspiring study of color and texture - modern art in the everyday. A reminder to pay attention to NOW, because I may miss all of this art which chance has curated for me.
Wonderful! A year of rings constructed from paper - each month's ring representing a symbolic flower.
Created by TT:NT, collaboration of Tihi Kutchamuch and Nutre Arayavanis.
Nice article in the Times on Sunday about Portland - a good read if you are planning a trip here.
The current issue of Food and Wine also features Portland - namely Pok Pok - a restaurant the mag calls a shrine to Thai grilling. I need to eat out more - in the meantime, I am want to try some of Pok Pok's recipes. {Even if they end up half as good as the food there.}
{!} This set by photographer Tim Walker for Vogue U.K , published last autumn, is fantastic. Tales of theUnexpected is inspired by the work of Roald Dahl. The feature includes Tim Burton & Helena Bonham Carter. {via ffffound}
