The work of Michael Johansson is really fantastic. Color, form, scale - all of it. I am not the most adept at describing what or why I like something, I just know it when I see it and these push all the right buttons for me. The ordinary becomes sculptural. More to enjoy here.
I love the suitcases below. I am a nut for size/scale collections {well, except for the clothes in my closet getting bigger}. I have
a few collections by size as well as a couple that are 'works in progress' as I find the right sizes - a stack of old movie/ round tins I hope to get as tall as can be and a stack of open books that form a pyramid.
