More from my tear sheets. I love these gowns as well as the photo styling of the features. So pretty.  For my own wedding, we have a lot of photos I really love, but the one of me in my gown twirling with the wind blowing is so Feminine Hygiene Commercial it cracks me up.

I really love the gold detailing on the dress at the top, even though I am not a fan of gold usually {would love it more in tarnished silver}. The back of the dress on form above is nice. All of the props are my thing - want that box! These pics from MS Weddings current issue.

If the pages were scratch and sniff I could have stopped to smell the flowers.

Busy, busy, busy - at least while going through my wedding folder{s} I took the time to stop and admire the flowers. These are a few from Elegant Bride and InStyle Weddings that I liked.

 

In Living Color

Gorgeous flowers in this spread in Martha Stewart Weddings. I adore monochromatic bouquets - here are a few of my favorites from this feature as well as a couple of small props I made for the shoot { peach wallpaper box and green fan}.

Rock candy

So excited to see this feature in Martha Stewart Weddings that I worked on. The rings are incredible { and I didn't think I was much of a diamond gal}. It was a lot of fun to work on. My good friend Rory, a very talented bookbinder, worked with me on the small boxes {as more were initially needed} - our working styles are a bit like Oscar and Felix and I bet it won't be hard to figure out who is Oscar.

The large box I created holds some sublime rings. Once again, it was a great opportunity to learn new things and work with some very talented folks. There is more of this feature in the current issue of MS Weddings.

All drawn up

Absolutely adore the styling on this feature in Martha Stewart Weddings.  Inspires me to get out a sketchbook -  I have never felt very confident about my drawing but I know if I put in the time I can reap the rewards of improvement. Lovely, lovely lines - illustrations by Mariko Jesse.

Digest - December Home Companion

So happy to see my friend Gianna Majzler  in the current issue of M.E. Home Companion. Gianna and her business partner Darren Calkins own the fabulous company FG and Co. , Darren also owns the store Paris to the Moon. Both Gianna and Darren are exceptionally nice and extraordinarily creative. It has been a while since I have seen them -  I miss them! The magazine feature shows some great shots of the home Gianna shares with her husband and Darren {her dog's bed is even amazing - antique church architecture!} as well as her studio {bottom picture}.

Calligraphy and Cakes

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the editors at Martha Stewart Weddings  once again and am so happy to be a part of this amazing feature on cakes and calligraphy.

Style Director Theresa Canning Zast,{whose cake topper I had the pleasure of making} created the concept and we collaborated on the pink calligraphy cake for the feature. Thank you again - it was a pleasure! MS Weddings continues to set the standard and raise the bar, every issue is full of inspiration. There are even more great ideas and wedding planning tips from Darcy Miller, Weddings Editor, at her blog The Bride's Guide - the extra goodies there are the icing on the cake so to speak. I would also like to thank both Abby at Style Me Pretty  and Vane at Brooklyn Bride for the kind mention - both of these blogs are tremendous resources for brides.
